Breanne Houston
biography
Breanne Houston speaks with honesty, compassion, and deep conviction about the sanctity of life because she has lived the reality of abortion, regret, redemption, and God’s extraordinary restoration. At 18 years old, as a freshman in college, she found herself pregnant, afraid, and convinced abortion was her only option. Believing the lies she was told and desperate to “fix” the situation, she chose abortion—a decision that brought immediate grief and regret that followed her for years.
Although Breanne later came to know Jesus Christ through the faithful witness of her future husband, the shame of her abortion lingered. Years later, after seeing the ultrasound of her second son at the same gestational age as the baby she lost, the full reality of what she had done overwhelmed her and began a deep journey of healing. Through the Forgiven and Set Free Bible study, Breanne experienced the freedom of truly understanding God’s forgiveness and redemption.
Twenty-two years after her abortion, God led Breanne into pregnancy help ministry, where she met a young abortion-determined woman whose story mirrored her own. Through hearing Breanne’s testimony and experiencing the compassion of the center, that young woman chose life for her baby. Breanne describes that moment as one of the clearest examples of God’s purpose in her pain.
Today, Breanne serves with Alliance Family Services, helping lead the launch of Alliance Women’s Clinic in Lenoir City, Tennessee, a free women’s clinic dedicated to serving women, babies, and families while boldly standing for life through truth, compassion, and the gospel of Jesus Christ. She also leads the Sanctity of Life Group at First Baptist Concord through the Sager Institute.
Breanne speaks to churches, schools, conferences, and community organizations about abortion, post-abortion healing, abortion pill reversal, biblical justice, and the redemptive power of the gospel. Her message is simple yet powerful: God uses broken people, healed people, redeemed people—and He wastes nothing.
