Dr. William Lile

Dr. William Lile, known as "The Pro Life Doc," is a Board Certified specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology, licensed to practice in both Florida and Alabama. He has served as an instructor for the OB/GYN residency programs at the University of Florida and Florida State University. Previously, he was the chairman of the Obstetrics and Gynecology department at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida, where he maintains an active practice. In 1999, Dr. Lile took over the practice of a physician who had been the largest provider of abortion services in the Florida panhandle for decades. Under the terms of the contract, the former abortionist was prohibited from practicing medicine in the Tri-county area for 24 months and subsequently retired to Sweden. Dr. Lile immediately ceased all abortions and referrals for abortions.  

In that same year, he founded ProLifeDoc.org. After witnessing the surgical suite of the abortionist and the preparation for the next procedure, Dr. Lile felt a calling to dedicate his life to stopping abortion. Now, as one of the leading life speakers in the nation, he travels across the United States to showcase the life within the womb using modern Obstetrics tools. Through ultrasound and fetoscopy videos, he illustrates the personhood of the unborn, demonstrating that surgical interventions and blood transfusions can be provided to babies while still in the womb, treating them as patients. Dr. Lile has produced videos available on www.ProLifeDoc.org, where he addresses large audiences and participates in TV interviews. He conducts bloodless demonstrations with retired abortion equipment to educate about the realities of abortion in all three trimesters in a truthful, understandable manner. He discusses the history of abortion and its societal impacts. Notably, in 2012, Florida recorded an average attendance of 75,601 at home football games, coinciding with 76,138 reported abortions in the state. In the same year, the Endangered Species Act granted full protection to unborn Sea Turtles on Florida beaches, while Roe vs. Wade stripped away protections for unborn babies.  

Dr. Lile has shared the truth of abortion with numerous Pregnancy Resource Centers, National Right to Life, Georgia Right to Life, Priests for Life, The Alliance Defending Freedom, The United States Council of Catholic Bishops, and Respect Life. He has also been interviewed by Dr. James Dobson for two upcoming radio programs. As one of the prominent pro-life speakers, he emphasizes the importance of understanding the truth of abortion and advocates for necessary changes in our country.
