Evie West speaks from experience as a former L.A. gang member and two-time teen mother who faced the heart-wrenching decision to terminate her second unborn son. Through God’s amazing grace, her story unfolds with intrigue, tough love, and miracles, showcasing Evie’s passionate journey of redemption and abundant life.
Evie’s narrative comes alive in her book, “Revolving Choices: Playing Roulette with Life.” Each chapter illustrates the adventure and journey of a young Hispanic girl in a desperate search for identity, whose life was transformed by the power of Jesus Christ. Her story stands as evidence that God can take your mess and turn it into a powerful message of love, forgiveness, and restoration, making her one of the inspiring life speakers of our time.
In 1996, Evie was divinely transplanted to Cleveland, Tennessee, where she enrolled at Lee University. By 2001, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Intercultural Studies and a minor in Bible. Now, as a dedicated police officer for the City of Cleveland, she promotes an environment of peace and safety, actively contributing to several organization boards such as Ocoee Regional Multicultural Services, Keep America Beautiful, and Habitat for Humanity.
Having experienced the emotional toll of abortion and the pain of giving birth without being able to take her baby home, Evie speaks with heartfelt compassion on pro-life issues. As a passionate pro-life speaker, she endorses adoption as a viable option and volunteers at New Hope Pregnancy Care Center in Cleveland, Tennessee.
Evie is married to Brandon West, a physician’s assistant, and they have two children.
TRAVELS FROM TENNESSEE
"Evie is the real deal! She is a great communicator - sincere, articulate and passionate about giving God all the glory. She is the hope of "abundant life" that we should have for each and every client. Our audience was captivated by her message and our donors were reminded of the critical need for their support and involvement. Hands down, one of the best appeals that has been delivered in our 30+ year history. She has a true gift!"

"We really appreciated having Evie here. She is such a relatable woman and definitely being used by God. Evie did a great job at our banquet. She told her story with such passion and pain that she kept the audience's attention. The upturn of her redemptive story and how she related that to the women and men in our area needing that same grace and that same opportunity to meet with a center like ours really connected with her listeners. Thank you so much for connecting us with Evie."
