Kerri Pomarolli

Kerri Pomarolli grew up performing from a young age and earned her B.F.A. in Musical Theater from the University of Michigan. She also attended the Stella Adler Conservatory in NYC and the British American Drama Academy in London. 

Kerri moved to LA and had roles on soaps such as Port Charles, General Hospital, and Young and the Restless, along with several parts in movies and sitcoms. Attracting big hitters in the industry, Kerri came to Hollywood in search of that one role to make her famous but realized that compromising her faith was not worth a star on the Walk of Fame. One night, after much prayer, it became clear that God had other plans for her, leading her to pursue stand up comedy. Her first gig was at the world-famous Hollywood Improv, where, despite performing for a very secular crowd, she was the only performer invited back. That was 18 years ago, and since then, Kerri has become one of Hollywood’s biggest Christian comedians. 

Kerri was named one of LA’s Most Inspiring People by LA Voyage Magazine and received the Comedian of the Year award from The Hollywood Red Letter Awards in 2022. As a national headlining stand up comedian, she has worked with notable figures such as Jay Leno, Jim Carey, and Candace Cameron Bure. She has been featured on The Tonight Show 29 times, Comedy Central, Netflix, ABC, and more. Kerri hosted her own show on MOMTV and major events, including backstage at the Emmy® Awards and the Female Songwriter Hall of Fame Awards. Her book was released alongside the hit movie Mom’s Night Out, starring Sean Astin. 

As a screenwriter, Kerri sold her second film script to the Hallmark Channel and served as a correspondent for CNN’s showbiz night as an “out of the closet” Christian in Hollywood. She has appeared on numerous TV shows discussing her faith in Hollywood and has a featured act at LA’s hottest comedy clubs. Passionate about her faith, Kerri has been featured on CNN News as a Christian in Hollywood, TBN, CBN, Hour of Power, and more. She speaks about 40 weeks a year on Christian platforms as a Comedian/Evangelist for events of all sizes. Kerri has toured with Lisa Bevere, Laura Story, Newsboys, and many others, participating in mega tours like Aspire Women and Extraordinary Women GATEWAY Pink. She is currently featured on the Roku channel, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. 

Kerri co-hosts a podcast with her teen daughter Lucy called The Carpool Comedy Podcast and is a nationally syndicated columnist for several magazines. Her new one-hour Dry Bar Comedy Special is out, and she has contributed as a writer and performer for The Babylon Bee. Kerri has helped raise millions for the Pro Life Movement worldwide, hosting and performing at fundraisers and events. Her personal story about her daughter Ruby’s miracle of life resonates deeply with many pro-life advocates. Her latest hour-long comedy special is now available on Spotify, Amazon, and Sirius Radio.
