Mike Spencer served as a pastor for 23 years and now serves as the
founder and president of Project LifeVoice, a gospel-driven human rights
ministry that equips and inspires pro-life ambassadors to speak
compellingly and to act sacrificially on behalf of our preborn neighbors
targeted by abortion.
Mike has a burden to awaken the Church to the plight of mothers facing
unplanned pregnancies and to the little ones they carry. He travels
extensively throughout the United States, speaking in churches, at
banquets and conferences, and on high school and university campuses.
He addresses thousands of students and adults each year and brings a
pastor’s heart to the often emotional and divisive issue of abortion in a way
that is both gracious and compelling.
Mike is the author of the book, Humanly Speaking: the Evil of Abortion, the
Silence of the Church, and the Grace of God. He and his wife, Barb, have
five children and 9 grandchildren and currently reside in Ohio.

Mike spoke at our benefit dinner and did an outstanding job! People gave over $530,000, our highest amount ever. Mike was compelling, compassionate, and persuasive. The way he spoke about the issue was fresh, intellectual, and easy to understand. Mike was universally applauded as one of the best speakers we have ever had!

Mike spoke at our recent Gala and was absolutely phenomenal! He spoke so eloquently about life that many of our 330 guests said he was the best speaker we ever had. We also met our financial goal for the evening. In addition to delivering a great message, Mike arrived early and was one of the last to leave the Gala. He very graciously mingled with our guests before and after the event and everyone spoke so highly of him. I would have him again in a heartbeat!

Humanly Speaking will help you stand for life by bringing clarity to the role of Christians in an abortion-supportive culture and by unmasking the destructive thinking that has effectively created two classes of human beings within the Church; those we value and protect, and those we regard as unworthy of our gospel influence and ignore.
Randy Alcorn and Stephanie Anderson, authors of Pro-Choice or Pro-Life?, write, “Humanly Speaking presents a compelling case for the humanity and dignity of the unborn and calls the church to respond accordingly.”
